We are delighted to share that the Bulgarian Association of Social Enterprises (BASE) has been selected as one of five organisations to receive financial support from ENSIE – European Network of Social Integration Enterprises – under the #BeWISE+ initiative.
#BeWISE+ aims to strengthen the representation and networks of Work Integration Social Enterprises (WISEs) at national and regional levels, with a particular focus on countries where WISE and social economy ecosystems are still developing.
For BASE, this is an important opportunity to further strengthen the network of social enterprises in Bulgaria, enhance stakeholder engagement, build organisational capacity and increase awareness of the essential role social enterprises play in creating more inclusive employment opportunities.
Alongside BASE, organisations from Croatia, Greece, Cyprus, and Bosnia and Herzegovina have been selected, creating further opportunities for knowledge exchange, new partnerships and stronger cooperation within the European social economy ecosystem.
We sincerely thank ENSIE for the trust and support. We look forward to this new stage of our work and to strengthening the voice and representation of Bulgarian social enterprises at both national and European levels.
