On 29 October 2025, the Bulgarian Association of Social Entrepreneurs (BASME) was officially accepted as a full member of ENSIE – the European Network of Social Integration Enterprises. The decision was taken during an extraordinary assembly of the organization and marks an important milestone in the development of Bulgaria’s social economy sector.
On 2 June 2025, the Bulgarian Association of Social Entrepreneurs organized a national round table on “Assessing the Ecosystem for the Development of Social Entrepreneurship in Bulgaria – Social Barometer”, as part of the project “Social Barometer” (2023-1-MK01-KA220-YOU-0000156667).
On May 28, 2025, representatives of BASE – Varna took part in an international round table in Belgrade, Republic of Serbia, held within the framework of the “Social Barometer” project, implemented under the EU-funded Erasmus+ Programme. The event was dedicated to the development of social entrepreneurship in Bulgaria, Serbia, and North Macedonia.
